Tire question
Anyone know anything about Sumitomo HTRz tires? I'm thinking about purchasing a wheel/tire combo on ebay, and these are the tires that come with the wheels. These would be my winter setup. The stock tires on my 01 A6 2.7T are TERRIBLE in the snow (sport package). I don't think I need SNOW tires per say, just something I can actually stop with w/o the ABS kicking in every f'in time.
I've read reviews on the tires stating that they're great in snow, and other reviews that they are terrible in the snow.

I have 2 sets of HTR's.
Not sure if they are Z's or not. They have been perfectly fine in the snow as far as I am concerned. As far as those wheels, be sure to ask the selling they are going to fit your 2.7T. A 2.8 A6 has much smaller brakes and so the fitment isn't an issue. It maybe for your 2.7T.
