Need advise on the sale of my 97 A6 Quattro

well my wife wanted the newer shape C5 so we picked up a 99 for a decent price. I want to keep the 97 however the extra money would help.

Car is extremly clean for a 97 and is fully loaded with all options for that year.

silver/black just turned 100k.

I was looking at 7k got an offer for $6500 should I take it?

I searched autotrader and cars.com and I cant find any 97 for 6500 with only 100k on them. This car was C.P.O. and dealer maintained for most of its life. no issues what so ever and everything works fine.

should I take the 6500 or sit on it for a while?

the used car maket is pretty saturated these days (especially with dealerships offering 0% financing on new cars). A year ago I sold my '99 A4 w/80K miles for $6K. I'd say $6500 for a '97 w/100k miles is certainly something to jump on.

Thanks for the info. I really love the car, that is why it's hard to part with it. It looks new when washed and waxed and drives like a champ.

wow...you gave it cheap...

A few months ago I sold my '95 90 w/90k for $6,100....that 97 Q is worth more than that, but if you need money right away I say sell it, if not, wait couple of months, someone will bite.
