Ok, Anyone here driving the edens spur from the North towards Chicago today?
The tollway PR rep just told me that there is no such speed bump (though I and others have witnessed it first hand) and that there never was such a thing.
She said was an expansion joint. Well, it wasn't.
Anyone who drives this please chime in on what you find today or in the near future.

Ok, on the edens Spur headed to Wisconsin....
Since I'm down the street from there, I think that I will take off work a few mins early and hit it. (no punn intended).
I'll go by the Southbound tolls and then hit Northbound.
(yes, phone-camera will be in hand - sorry, I don't have the big lense with me today)

Electable?!? How about eliminated - completely. Just raise the...
siz-county gas tax $0.05/gal and get rid of the tolls. The Nickel will probably cover maintenance.
When you think of all the resources needed to collect tolls and the resources wasted by cars and trucks idling while waiting to pay tolls (not to mention the wasted time for all parties on the road), it boggles the mind.
If you must have a toll, make one at the entry and exit for Wisconsin and another at the entry and exit to Indiana. Charge cars $1 and Trucks $5 and eliminate everything in-between.
