Well fellow Chicagoans, I got a new (to me) A4 today...
After searching the earth for a CPO A4 that met my criteria and price range, I finally found one today. I'm picking it up tonight. This time I got quattro!
It's an 03 dolphin, 1.8t quattro, 5-spd, ebony interior. The only thing missing is the xenons and auto-dimming mirror, but I can add those things later. It only had 20k miles on it, and I got the certified preowned warranty.
I'm giddy like a little school girl...

they had an avant there in the same color combo...
but it was a 3.0 tip. I had brushed aluminum roof rails and it looks f*cking SWEET. If it was a 18.8 with manual, I would have strongly considered buying it.

I don't mind driving it either.
I wish it was just D and S modes. The tip feature is silly and useless IMHO. All your doing is handshifting an auto that has a mind of it's own. At least the S mode was programmed by an enthusiast.
