So I'm walking westward on Madison coming from State (for all that don't know, madison is a one-way going eastbound), and I'm nearing the Clark intersection when all of a sudden i hear a tire-screaching peeling out sound.....and it's getting louder....AND it's coming from BEHIND ME! Sure enough, there's some crazy MF'er in a green Jeep Cherokee peeling out in reverse probably going about 40mph or so by this time and accelerating. He crosses Clark and slams into a stationary car, puts the car in drive, peels out again about half a block, and hits another car! At this time, the old joke black comedians make about black folks running away from crazy incidents and white folk running TO them comes to mind b/c me and whatever black people were there were running away from the site and all the white folk were running to it. I'm not being racist, just an aside that popped into my mind. Anyway, i was tempted to see what the end result was b/c we finally heard the engine cut out, but i figured chances are pretty high that if this idiot pulled a stunt like this, he may have a gun in his car as well and just start unloading on random people. Either way, I didn't want to find out, so i just took off. What's even crazier is this maniac had a little girl of probably about 4 years old in the back seat of the car and when he was driving by, he looked cool as a cucumber, like that's what he was supposed to be doing. I thought it was a movie being shot, but there were no cameras and nothing was sectioned off. Crazy people! Anyway, you guys'll probaby see this on the news tonight.

 

Do you suppose it was a carjacking with kids in the car and he realized it? Strange.
