God %@*# city of Chicago, fix the f'in roads you tear up!!!!!!!!!
I am usually a pretty laid back guy, but the city is starting to **** me off!
WTH do they rip up the top layers of streets, only to leave them looking like a mine field for months?
This morning as I was slowly driving down Belden, avoiding the man made potholes and raised manhole covers, some genius lady, with a CL55, decided to open her big *** door at mach5. I steered to avoid it, only to nick a manhole cover and scuff the lip of my newly refinished BBS RXII.
What pisses me off the most is that the city will close the road for half a day, and somehow be able to completely finish a 3-4 block stretch.
What possible reason is there to leave them torn up for so long...enlighten me.

Not long ago, some dumb biatch was driving the wrong way down Belden aroung Larabee, forcing me to
the wrong side of the road from where I wanted to be. A slight scrape from driving down into a hole later...I almost threw it in reverse so I could have taken a torque wrench to her windows.
That road has been like that for months. And I know what you mean. That's not the only road like that. When they tear up those roads, the manholes have to be sticking up at least 4 inches from the road at that point. Pretty dangerous if you ask me.
