Any TDI Audis in the Chicagoland area for sale? Preferably ones with Quattro...

Or does anyone know how to go about getting one. I found out there is an A8L with a TDI engine. My dad wants a 4Motion Passat with TDI but that is really hard to find.

I don't think I've ever seen an TDi Audi in the states

There were never any TDI's offerd for sale in the states.

There were diesels (non Turbo) in the early 80's but none that the bodies would have survived this long. There is a 2.5 TDI (burgundy) that runs around Westmont/Downers area but it belongs to International Harvester and is here on testing purposes. Laurel services it and they told me that they have it here because IH is trying to find a way to make diesels as quiet as the VAG TDI's.
