Hey Nvr2fast Caddy guy.
What ever becane of your trim/door fiasco in your house?
I am 21 days away from closing. Not that I have been breaking and entering or anything like that but I do know the wrong thermostat was installed so it's an easy fix. Everything else is going fine.

no phone call back, going on 3 weeks since she said she was "looking into it"
I doubt anything will come of it. She said she would call but I shouldnt hold my breathe for any resolution in my favor. But I have at least three neighbors that got screwed harder on their houses more then I did. All option problems...William Ryan is turning out to be really bad company when it comes to customer service. In fact I will call her right now to bitch her out...thanks for reminding me. How does everything else look at your crib?...Paint, trim, door fitment, etc etc....nitpick the fvck out of it as much as you can

Everything has looked real good.
We have a pre-drywall walk through and at that time they have placed a phone jack in our master bedroom that should have been in our loft. No problems correcting it. They left the master bedroom jack so we scored an extra jack. Otherwise, it has been smooth sailing. I am bummed that I won't have sod though untill next year due to the drought this year and Shorewood is on a no watering ban.

they just lifted our ban in Aurora, will be laying sod this week from the note we got
make sure you take your time in your final walk through and ask all the stupid questions you have rolling around in your head. Do you have street mailboxes? didnt realize we did...what a MF it is to install one of those in Illinois soil..figured it came with the house...woops!

We have final walk through the week before. They told us to allow 2-3 hours for that plus they will be doing 30 day, 11 month etc check ups. Yeah, we have mail boxes. We've gotten mail there, plus an invitation to some party the next block over. I'd be really happy with sod. 2 dogs + dirt + white leather sofa=not good.

i dont know, seems like Sept is a little late in the season. I hope the sod takes
or I will be pissed. And we only get seed in the back...I am new to home ownership so I will be here asking frequent stupid questions. Be prepared for some humor cause I can see some real stupid things coming up...Owning a home is a pain....I miss renting and throwing my money away, at least I didnt have to take care of anything then! lol

Should take fine.
Be real good if it was there for the winter thaw and then the spring rains. It's not bad owning a house. You're just trying to get settled. It takes abit but once you are there you will never want to rent again. This is my second house but first time building.
We had looked at your builder in Aurora originally. Would have been weird if we were neighbors.
