Does anybody else laugh at 'burb drivers who think they're being nice by letting pedestrians cross..
when in fact, pedestrians have the green walk sign and they HAVE the right-of-way?
I was behind this dope today from State to Hubbard to Dearborn to Grand...at each turn, he'd wave the pedestrians to cross...I wasn't sure if I should lose my cool or just laugh...

No, but I love dyslexic peds who can't understand Walk from Don't Walk and start
to enter the intersection in front of your car just as your light is going green, then stare at you like "go on, try and hit me". Just once. Just once please!
With my Audi and my other cars, I think people assume you have a nice car and you won't hit them but since I got this Yukon XL Denali for tooling around in, no one, and i mean NO ONE walks in front of me. It's kind of nice actually!

ditto to Mike's comment, with the 'new' RS 6 I just tap the pedal, the growl keeps them on the curb
fun stuff, with my TT people just assumed I would stop. This is the only city that I ever have a need to be on the horn for something stupid every single day. I have driven repeatedly across country with nothing that would cause me to beep but the second I cross the city limits, always a honk.

I actually started getting yelled at one day because some nut of a father walked out in front
of my car after my light turned green to go straight. He was carrying a cooler with his son and just stepped right in front of me. He thought I was trying to hit him so he started yelling at me, in spanish no less. I couldn't understand the words, but he essentially wanted me to get out of the car and fight me. What a cool dad.

I drive in the loop everyday... I don't laugh as much as lay on the horn. seriously
the flow of traffic for 2 blocks or more can be disrupted. The pedestrians can wait 20 seconds. If I weren't selling my wife's honda, I would replace the horns with louder ones.
