Any suggestions on good glass installers....I need to transfer a windshield from one car to another
These windshields are like gold so I don't want some shop on the block breaking the good glass.
Liability only for insurance so its a 'no go' that way, and even if I had it there is very few if any of those left in the country. Maybe some of you guys at the dealer can look up and let me know, the price and availability for a windshield for 1990-1991 Coupe Quattro. Only 1730 of these cars imported during those 2 years only so not too many spare windshields I guess. I could use ACCCC discount too, and maybe s'thing else, I guess.

Called few places...Glass America too...nobody will guarantee against breakage...
None will guarantee that they will not crack the good glass while removing it, and wanted between $240-300 to do the job - I'll be DIY. Good luck.
