y'know . . . i was kinda hoping that nobody noticed . . .
that i've single-handedly polished off 8 bottles of Johnnie Walker Black while sitting at home and staring at the walls the past 3 weekends (depression is a bitch) . . . but I guess someone did (begin forwarded email):

I went to one two years ago downtown. It was nice to learn more about what I like to drink,
but I didn't go away with as much stuff as I would have liked. (read: walking man pin and pencil) It was worth it regardless.

I had a friend who went to Chivas Regal tasting....he went away with a bunch of stuff including a
little bottle Chivas. But like I said, I definitely have a better appreciation now of what I drink and can pick up some of the subtleties that make up the blend, which makes drinking Walker more enjoyable.
They opened up with everyone going into a room so we could gather together and they gave out free drinks. Then we went up to the tasting room, where some pretty good looking scottish chicks were doing all the talking (definitely nice to listen to and look at). I'd definately go if they're serving up all the labels. I haven't tried blue yet, but soon...
