TIme to say goodbyeto my B6 A4, giving in to the minivan...

I have been one of those behind the scenes guys on Audiworld since 2002 and its wonderful to have a forum without the lack of maturity some car euthusiasts' forums do. It been fun but focusing on the family now. If you know of anyone who is in the market for an Audi, its looking for a happy home. Thanks for the good times. Til next time...

Ha - that's sort of like saying

mini p_n_s...

But seriously, it is sad to see a "car guy" turn into one of those mini-van, SUV types. For the life of me I just don't get it. My folks raised two kids and we did perfectly fine with four-door sedans. Neighbors with more kids did fine with Station Wagons. But I guess everyone feels compelled to buy a box on wheels once they have a family.

But to each their own. I hope you revert to being a car owner soon - unless of course you become enthralled with the driving dynamics of your new mini-van...

Nice Audi, BTW. Too bad I don't need one at the moment.

You guys know how to make it hurt at the heart :)

I would love to stick with an Audi and get an avant, or even an Allroad but personally I like to drive a manual transmission car and the wife can't drive it. My dream would be to have a manual avant. I guess everyone makes the sacrifice for family sometimes and I think we will have more than two kids. I did get a AWD Sienna, in honor of the Audi. Once you go Quattro you can't go back. But I assure you I will be back as a proud Audi owner again in the future.
