Poll......Has anyone noticed truck drivers are driving like *******s lately?(long)
I was merging onto I-55 towards Chicago from Rt 83...there was still alot of room left in the merge lane so I accelerated moderately to get in between two trucks...it wasnt the type of move where I would cut the truck off, just a gradual merge..as I start to accel he must have seen me in his mirror and he swung his truck into the merge lane to block me as I was about a quarter past his rear axles..I had to pass on the shoulder to avoid hitting him and cause an accident..then the truck in front of him which I was going to get behind and in line with swerved towards the shoulder like he was going to block me..then he slammed on his brakes...bottle necked traffic and almost caused a pile up...I dont get it. I wasnt even driving like an *******..what gives?

What's new, happens all the time.
I understand their tight schedules and what not but I hate when ona 2 lane highway they decide to pass the guy in front of them even though they see me in the mirror approaching pretty quick and they are faster than the other guy by 1 -2 mph. so I have to slam on my brakes to come from 80-55 and follow him for next 2 minutes....pisses me off when they do that.

Edens and Kennedy
since tolls increased at the end of last year, the number of trucks by-passing the N/S Tollway via the Edens and the Kennedy to and from Wisconsin has increased by an incredible amount. I don't even want to go into what it's like driving home each evening in traffic with them lined up in the middle lane...

I pass the Burlington yard on Ogden on my to and fro work
trucks come bareling out of there into Ogden Ave with like no care and at top speeds. I came real close to one yesterday. I really laid on the brake, got some squelching and all. Regadless I was doing 55 in a 40 but they still come out too fast and don't care.

55 in a 40? Shame on you
in that stretch of Ogden you should be going at least 60 to keep from being run over. I like how the trucks there will pull out - right in front of you as the exit the yard on the West end. You can be going 70 , er, 45 and all of a sudden there is a truck right in front of you. I've hit the hooks hard there dozens of times.

Last week
We were lazy and drove the A4 to work. We're putzing along a little above 40 and this truck going westbound swings out south about a 1/4 mile ahead, blocking both lanes and proceeds to back into the yard. Holy !@# was that a ballsy move.

I hate truck drivers
They've nearly run off the road dozens of times.
Just last week, I was on Eastbound 80/294 in the right lane before the Bishop Ford merge when a truck driver swerved to block me from driving in the right lane because he thought I was going to be a late merger. My exit was before the merge and he wanted to make me wait in the jammed left and center lanes with him. Douche. When I finally got by him via the left lane, two OTHER trucks wouldn't let me in the center lane so I could get right for my exit.
They can all eat ****.
