What a difference a tire makes
I have been driving on some worn and noisey Pilot Sports since I bought the car with 19k..have 46k now and needed some all seasons for the winter..Ended up going with the Pilot Sport A/S. great tire.....nice and quiet which is a huge improvement over the noise the original PS's made. This is my first car that had high performance tires so I am new to the handling charecteristics they provide...didnt realize how well the PS's handled until I drove into a hard corner with A/S....A/S will be great for winter but cant wait to go back to a nice sticky summer tire...that is all!

Instead of having three sets of wheels/tires, now that I have track tires, don't really need my summer tires any longer. The 2nd season on the Pirelli Pzero's are really jarring, when I put on my winter set up with A/S's on them (Continential ContiSport or something like that), I love the ride of my car.
So I'm thinking get the Pilot Sport A/S's mounted on my A6 4.2 wheels and just run them on the street all year and run my track wheels/tires when I do an autox or track event.
How much was a set of four?

$850 for four, includes lifetime repairs, balance and rotate at N/C
I thought it was a rip off at first, but I priced the tires through my shop and I would have only saved like 13 bucks a tire...so It was a straight deal....Im sure you could find a good A/S for less but I like Michellins..Im a brandname *****
