A couple of questions for the guy with the white 350z
Any regrets from selling the audi and going with the 350z.
Is this you daily driver, if so during winter as well.
Any complaints about the car, as far as the looks of it go, interior, any maintenance headaches?
What made you choose the 350z instead of G35.
thanks
I toyed with getting a Z and turbo'ing it...but once again, i really did want a small sedan. The interior is hard to accept. Really hard

In winter, any car is decent with dedicated snow tires. My big turbo Miata was completely predictable with snows...you just have to be real cautious when applying the power.
Cheers,
Sameer
i just wanted to ask i think the guys name is jeff those questions in the original thread regarding the car.
Only when I need to haul more than one passenger. My A4 was way out of warranty and was getting quite expensive to maintain. I wanted to replace it with something that reminded me of my old RX-7 . . . . and the Z fit the bill. The Z certainly turns a lot of heads (including the cops), so that may be a downside.
> Is this you daily driver, if so during winter as well.
Yes, it is my daily driver (including last winter and this upcoming winter). Without a dedicated set of snow tires - you can forget about any forward motion with this car in the snow. With dedicated snows, it drives like a dream in the winter.

No complaints about the exterior and you really can't compare the A4 interior to the Z interior. The A4 was a small luxury sedan . . . and Audi is still known for the EXCELLENT interior build quality. The Z's interior is quite spartan yet very functional - it's definitely more of a "driver's car" than a "luxury car."
In terms of any maintenance issues . . . there have been quite a few TSBs. The newer the Z, the fewer the problems (the 2003s had many big issues). Probably the most complained-about issue with the Z is it's incredible appetite for tires. A suspension geometry issue combined with poorly matched OEM shocks and springs = rapid tire feathering (something that Nissan still has yet to satisfactorily address). I've addressed this issue by swapping out the OEM suspension with a set of adjustable coilovers paired with adjustable camber arms and toe bolts.

The $10K price difference, for starters.
Hopefully I've answered all of your questions. The Z is a blast to drive OEM . . . and even more so (as with all cars) once you add a few modifications. Heh, I can also say that not a day goes by without at least 2-3 people commenting on it.
Word . . . here's a current pic. Enjoy.

Makes me think back to my pre-modded A4 1.8T w/no sport package. Good god that car was dismal to drive. BUT . . . upgrade the sways, wheels/tires, springs/shocks, chip, exhaust . . . and it was much more fun.
