Been staring at Jeff's Z pics to much...picked up 17x8.5 Bronze wheels...
with 245/45-17 Proxes 4. Really wanted gold wheels with polished lip but i cannot bring myself to spend huge money (like the lovely SP1 professor wheels). So i picked up some cheapie Rota Slipstreams. I like the fact they are 8.5 width. Seems 255 tires rub on lowered STIs, so i stuck with 245s for when i eventually do a suspension.
Now i just need to resist the need to put a bigger drop in turbo (TDO6-20G) and methanol injection. Ideally i want to wait 2 years before i do that...but a lousy drop in turbo/injectors and fuel pump is worth ~360whp/~380wtq. I am happy that one of the best Subie tuners in the country is here in Chicago, so a custom tune is easy to get.
BTW if anyone wants to buy a big turbo Miata, let me know
BTW anyone here ownes a riced out A4 (big grey audi rings on a silver A4) that did a ricer fly-by on a white STI on Rt 30 near I-55 a couple weeks ago? Lame.
