Thanks to everyone that was out autoxing yesterday! It was a great time! <Results>
Overall, I would like to thank those that put time and effort into making this run, as it isn't just bill and I. Bob H, David P, Marko, Mike Wit, Eric R, just to name a few were always there to help, even if they didn't always participate. We couldn't have done it otherwise.
And of course all of you guys for participating! It makes our day's more fun to have more people out there, and thus we always had lots of fun.
Next year will be bigger and better. Plans include an onsite printer so times will be easier to see in real time. We will also have the light board working again for that oh so sweet instant gratification.
oh, and <a href="http://www.audichicago.org/eventResults.php?id=123">the results are up</a>....
We are always looking for members that want to step-up and become more involved with the club. Although it does require a bit of time, it's very rewarding to see all the smiling faces of participants and to know that you had something to do with the success of the events.
So if you are interested in helping out, shoot me an e-mail. We'll invite you to planning meetings and you will have an active "say" in how things are done.
5.7L V-8 - carbureted - old skool style. The thing had so much torque, he started in 2nd and kept it there. On his best run, he bogged a bit off the line and still had a great time.
And Hoosiers that were wider than they were tall.
I think that instead of springs / struts he just had a steel bar welded in. Well just kidding on that part, but it had ZERO body lean in the corners.

He goes to the runoffs each year.
He is planning on adding a supercharger this winter.
