why did the McGrath service manager say turbo time.....

will void my buddys warranty on his s4?

It changes the way the car "manages" the turbos. But really to avoid doing the work.

So, he's finally getting around to installing that thing. Didn't even know he drove that thing, usually it's with his mom. HAHA Paying for a car he doesn't drive, priceless...

cuz it will void his warranty if he needs to bring it in and they see it.

Didn't he think about this BEFORE he bought the TT? And if he plans on modding the suspension, you should inform captain potter that it will void his warranty also, unless he likes ordering parts he can't put on.
