Exhaust question

i have a 2000 a4 that's got close to 100,000 miles on it, looking to get another 100k out of it hopefully
anyway i want to spend about a grand on a new exhaust including installation.
if i get a full exhaust with downpipe will the car still pass emissions?
anyone know a shop around aurora or naperville that will do a good job?

(630) 579-9301 ask for Parrish....he has done some excellent work for me on both my Suburban and A6.....

I have taken every car I have put an exhaust on to Exhaust Works. Parrish gets you in and out and does a great job.

Do they do alot of custom work? Are they expensive?

I am looking at doing a custom pipe from my FMIC to the inlet of my TB on my TT. It would need to sneak around a number of things.

Currently, after the FMIC there is a 180 bend and then connects to a pipe that flattens out under the battery and then makes an S shape up to the TB. I want to come from the 180 after the FMIC and head straigh up to the TB. I will need to move my battery back a bit and will be doing that work over the next few weeks.
