Anybody running the marathon tomorrow? Good luck! I was supposed to...
but broke my ankle last weekend. I was really stoked too -- this sucks.
Good thing is, I ran the Maui Marathon last month...so at least I got one in for the season.
Run well!!! Looks like it'll be a great day for it!!

I hate the Marathon
I do not pay out the @ss in property tax to get trapped in the confines of the route by people that like to run. I had to park my Jeep at my dads house saturday night just so I could leave the city on sunday. I am going to run people over on my downhill bike.

Broke the tibia and sprained a tendon...
The tibia brake is non-displaced, so no surgery or pins -- doc seems to think that should heal up nice and quick.
Tendon, on the other hand, may take some time...
Good news is that I was in excellent physical shape (just finished a marathon and really worked at the training--exercise, nutrition, etc.). So as far as healing goes -- it won't get any faster (compared to if I had a beer belly, potato chip diet, and bogged down heart).
Bad news is that my 'leg parts' were operating at such peak performance, I'm going to have major atrophy when this beast gets removed...
I'll see how the PT goes -- I'm in the city -- If I'm not happy with who gets recommended to me, I'll hit you up for your contact...
