autobahn attendees: where are you staying

the event hotel is full. (why is it all the way in tinley park?)

google says there's quite a few hotels just a few miles away from the track, is anyone staying at these?

i'd rather stay at a hotel that some others are staying at so my car doesn't look like the most expensive one in the parking lot.

Myself and 2 are staying at the Ramada limited. It is 3 miles from the track...so they say. Who knows why we are in Tinley, maybe there was a big convention in Joliet?

I'm staying at home.....

.. we tried to get blocks of rooms closer but had issues with reservations / necessary accomidations.

Tinley Park is only 15 - 20 min from the track.

Going to Challenge Park was way to close to comfort for me

I dont think I will ever be the same, nor will I ever go back to ABCC. Too many bad dreams.

got reservations at the event hotel but after learning it's still 20 or so mins from autobahn...

I'm contemplating just driving the extra 30 mins home each night so I don't have to sleep on a foreign bed not to mention save the $220 in lodging. Or maybe change to one of the hotels closer to autobahn... wished I knew about this earlier. I automatically assumed the event hotel was close because why would rooms be blocked for the club otherwise?
