Umps make errors all the time. This one just happened to go in the Sox favor. Look at it this way.
He shouldn't have swung at such a lousy pitch in the first place! Plus, the pitcher didn't have to serve up such an easy target to the next batter. (Damn, here I sit, a Cubs fan, defending the Sox!)

controversial call or not...that place was insane last night...I have no voice to prove it!!!
First playoff game I have seen...first time ever in the 30 some games I have been to in the past five years that I have seen Buehrle pitch....GO SOX!!!! GO SOX!! and for all those who think it is a ****ty way to win...doesnt matter...if people want to bitch then the Sox should start arguing *****, strikes...questionable tags, etc...Its part of the game..the call went our way this time...Angels may get a break like that next time...no point in complaining or saying it really wasnt a win!!! Fvck am I hung over... :-)

while i said i'd root for the white sox if the red sox lost, i still can't do it.
i can't give my white sox friends the satisfaction and it just seems too hard to do. that final play was horrible last night. yeah, they're still a home team, but i can't root for them. i think now the only time i'll be able to is if they go to the world series against the cards. hopefully houston will take it all the way.
