Quick question for all you track junkies. Just how stoked are you for a 3-day event at ABCC in '06?
I know that I am already looking forward to it.
North track Saturday
South track Sunday
Full Track Monday
21 turns - 3.531 miles - I can see the smiles now.
Three tracks in three days.
That venue ain't cheap and a three-day event with the full course on the third day is going to cost more. Are you prepared to pay extra?

Not stoked at all.
Simply because I don't have any track time on any of the layouts. I think you'd find a similar response from those without experience there.
That said, I'm sure the response will be strong for those who have been there before.

A Saturday with three sessions on the North track
A Sunday with 4-5 sessions on the South track.
Monday puts the two together so a lot of the corners you have already had experience with.

I'd be pissed if I was...
just sitting at home all year with my thumb up my ***. but I skipped the spring event in favor of grattan. and I was registered for the fall event but had to cancel because my car was being repaired for ~45 days.

it isn't til the second day that things begin to sink in for me. perhaps I'm a slow learner (I don't think that's the case). I didn't really even start kicking *** til the second day at Blackhawk this year... and I've been there before!
not saying its a bad idea... just not something I would sign up for. I will do (at least) one new track next year. It won't break my heart if its not ABCC.

yeah, good to reserve judgement. Cause some tracks just are NO FUN AT ALL.
best to not get excited. you never know. it could be a really CRAPPY set of 21 turns. Regardless of other people's opinions, it could still suck. I mean nascar runs on a "track" right?
