Need some advice.....Audi TT vs. Lexus IS 250
My wife is looking to buy new car, and after few weeks of research we ended up with two options: New Audi TT 2.0T and Lexus IS250 AWD
I did fast comparison and Lexus is winning so far with:
- AWD (very important)
- standard Advanced key
- standard ventilated seats
- rear view camera (standard with NAV option)
- voice controlled navigation & telephone
Since we are trying to stay under $40K it is almost impossible to configure TT with options like that.
I would never choose Lexus over Audi and my wife drove only German cars before (VW / BMW) but we heard a lot of good thing lately about Lexus. Now the question is ....do you have any experience with Lexus? How reliable they are and what would be your choice if it is narrowed to IS250 and TT?

Where you been, Lexus is as reliable as a car can get.
My buddy has a IS250 AWD. Its really nice and the materials inside are well made.
Just really SLOW for a car thats $40k and its not fun to drive at all. Steering feel is a snooze. But of course im not sure if your wife would care. Its a great car and I wanted my mom to get one but it was too much for her. She ended up with an 07 TSX with navi for $28k.
How about the 328xi coupe or sedan?
As much as I like the new TT, i refuse to buy a first model year german car.
