Buying Audi Bluetooth kit, who can install?
Thanks, I look forward to sharing and meeting some of you!
Dan
I met with a great installer at ABT on Milwaukee in Glenview. We discussed the kit. John is a big VW guy so feels my pain with how the Audi RNS-E interfaces and options work. We worked out how to do the kit or do a good install with the Parrot and talked about a good install opt. for an Escort SR7 detector. Here is the crazy thing though, if you don't already own the Nav system I would look into the Pioneer AVIC-Z2. Very pricy and you have lots of costs for add ons like XM, rear view camera, iPod, etc. BUT the kicker if I was buying an Audi without the Nav built in is that with a little accessory they can remap the steering wheel controls. The touch screen and better interface than Audi is also very appealing. Fits almost perfectly in the slot. Anyway, for whatever its worth it is nice to see such good integration with the existing controls. Had not seen that before.

http://www.abtelectronics.com/product/28218.html</a
