Default Porsche going in this weekend to get some things done for the track.....

turbo tie-rods
SS brake lines
new brake sensors
steve wong chip

New tires will be on her later this month, and the front seats are being recovered by Riggs Bros.

Anything else I should have done while it's in Eurocar's hands?

Did you notice a difference with the aluminum subframe mounts?

Default Refresh my memory, what year is the car?

What pad are you running? Also, I still have a Stable Energies front stress bar, the one that has the cross brace to the front trunk floor. From my old '86 if you want it. If I dig deep enough, I might find the 911 Cabriolet engine mounts that are firmer rubber too. And it's possible I've still got my old torsion bars too. Had Sway Away custom make front torsion bars in a 21.5mm for me to use in conjunction with the 28 rear. The balance was really nice but I ultimately went 23/31 and gave up any semblence of ride comfort.

Oh, I could rattle off a whole list of changes.... my old 911 was an Autothority guinea pig and spent countless hours on their dyno testing different chips, different cam timing settings, different header primary pipe diameters..... don't get me started, it makes me homesick for the old 911 days.

Default You can have the strut brace, it's just collecting dust in my basement.

Pads- I had really good luck with both Pagid Orange and Hawk Blue for mostly track work, with ATE Super Blue fluid. I then went to 930 brakes but that was after 3 years of track use and 10-12 events a year. The stock brakes will do you fine with good pads. But the Orange or the Blues will make noise on the street. Could try the Hawk HP+ for combination duty.

Good person to call is Paul Weston at Weston Motorsports. He's a long time Porsche person and has been distributing Porsche pads for a good 15 years. (888)558-0631. Handles Pagid, Hawk & KFP (formerly Kerr Friction). He even got me my first set of Hawk pads for the allroad way back when noone even listed pads for the late single piston calipers.
