BBS wheels use a retaining ring to hold the center ring in place. Practically every other wheel
I've seen just gives you the center ring but with the BBS wheels it also has a very skinny little retaining ring designed to hold the center ring. Talk about redundancies. So, on the installation of the back right wheel, the little retaining ring shifted slightly. We torqued the wheel down but it wasn't sitting completely flush, but to the naked eye you couldn't see that. When we moved the back right to the back left and got the same wobble, it was because the retaining ring had actually embedded itself into the back of the BBS wheel and literally stuck there. There's a permanent dig into the backside of the BBS wheel now, but it doesn't affect it any and it can't be seen when mounted. We moved the retaining ring back into place and all is good.
