omg, safety is a PITA.

Eric and I spent the better part of this weekend modifying the stock seats in my elise for 6-pt harnesses. There was drilling, dremeling, and more dremeling. And some sewing, which sucked. We also "rebuilt" the seats with special butt-friendly foam.

End result:

Hopefully future passengers will appreciate being safe(r). I thought my hands would be permanently frozen into dremel-shaped claws!

Nice job! Looks great! I assume the shoulder holes are cut for you, and will be useless for others?

Seriously? Or did you make them high?

thanks! the holes go where they must...

the back of the seat is contoured, so the location of shoulder holes is pretty much fixed.
