Hey everyone, I am a daddy!
We went in Friday morning at 7:30am for a scheduled induction. Our little bundle of joy finally popped out at 7:44am the next morning. That was one helluva long day and night. We're all pretty exhausted as you might imagine.
Everybody is healthy and doing well. His name is Jake. 7lbs 15oz 21". Here are a few pics of my little guy...
This is just minutes after being born. He looks a little cranky here. I can't blame him, after all he just got his head squeezed through the birth canal and he's probably freaking out thinking, "WTF just happened?!?!?"

Hand for scale. When the nurses took his foot prints, they also stamped his prints on the backs of my hands. I thought that was pretty cool.

Finally some quiet time for him to rest. Sorry no flash on this pic... we didn't want to startle him awake.
