The VIR cars are locked and loaded (or would that be loaded and locked?)
and it was about time we ripped the exhaust off the Track ****. Cosmetically it still looks the same but now it's nothing more than some s.s. straight pipes all the way back.
So, a quick check of the sound meter at around 10' away registered a 106.6db reading at about 3K RPM. Seeing as how this car lives above 3K I have a feeling it's going to be considerably louder!
Here's a short clip at idle and with slight revs to about 2500 RPM. Sorry for the crappy quality but all I had was my point and shoot camera in video mode. VIR is going to be either very loud for me or very quick if they boot me off. I brought the Cayman as back up.

You're going to have problems at a lot of tracks. eg- LimeRock is 98db
Flowmaster single chamber race mufflers might be in order. Will probably drop it 3-4db. Or the Phase 9 mufflers so popular with the 911 crowd. They drop the db and actually make a couple hp over unmuffled.
