So, the day after I returned from Disney with the family I was off to sunny Phoenix for some intense driving at Firebird raceway.

after all of that fun I flew to Dallas and rented a car to drive to Shreveport Louisiana ... where I picked this up to drive home

it was 40 - 45 degrees and raining all the way home .... but on summer tires that was fine with me since snow would have left me stranded

I am very jealous of you! Bondurant is so much fun (I drove the C5 Z06's there a couple of years ago). So, are you really unable to drive the C6 Z06's on the track? (even if you do the "Z06 experience" package?) Luke, could you offer any insight regarding driving the Z06's at bondurant (see my above post)?

 

The Z06 experience at Bondurant lets you do some straightline blasts, technique training and some 'lead/follow' track time but NEVER are you allowed to run at a pace of your choosing unless it's slower than the instructor in a 6 cylinder CTS leading your group of 3-4 Z06's. They receieve no modifications since they will not be tracked so, you get the added benefit of those horrible seats. and no harnesses .... while the normal C6's are outfitted with race seats and harnesses and the advanced school C6's (white ones in the back ground of a couple pictures) even get slicks. No insight on Spring Mountains' attitude towards unleashing the C6 Z06 on the track
