Hey guys!
So I grew some testies and want to start doing track days. I was always a wuss about tracking my daily driver so now i went and bought a used S2000.
Now ACNA rules say i need a 4 point roll cage, but is that the same as a roll bar? I think this is what I rathered from reading....
DE track days = no roll cage but must pass the broomstick test
Racing track days = roll cage
So i should be ok to join the Autobahn event with you guys with my stock S2000. Yes?
*edit* Nevermind, Bob just emailed me...."Unfortunately, the National board wants to take the level of safety up a notch with a full cage and not just the hoop. If you are able to get National to provide a clarification of only needing a roll hoop, we could run with it. But, as it stands the hoop is inadequate and I am not able to do anything about it."
