Moving to the far south side of Chicago with an older Audi is an eye opener!!!

Use to live in Logan Sq./Bucktown but since a death in the family I have chosen to sell the family home (Too many heartbreaking memories) & move to Blue Island and far south side of Chicago. Audis are as rare as an honest politician. The machine shops, parts places and mechanics have never seen my type of car before much less Audis per se. They are used to Mercedes/Volvos/Saabs(Beverly neighborhood is very swanky) and the ususal Japanese-Korean stuff. BMW's and Audis are very exotic down here on the Far southside. Any work or parts I need I will have to travel up north.........bummer.

If you're looking for some good eats in Blue Island, hit up Maple Tree Inn

Great cajun food and impressive beer list (all tap). It's on Old Western Ave right by the Cal Sag.

Thanks heard some good stuff about them. GF's buddy owns a nice Italian....

eatery just down the block from there. Great Chicken Vesuvio!

south side! Funny you say that because I was in Midloathian one day

at family's friend's shop and they thought my car was a Volvo or something....and I mean a body shop.
