but the 2002 is the 2004 is, the 2005 is, the 1.8t's are....WTF! What did they make em good in 2003 and then made ****ty parts after again!? WTF...anyone shed light to this for me?

What are the symptoms of a bad ECT?
Just throws a check engine light and gives you a code?
My S8 does not warm up fully when it's less than 30F outside, but I'm guessing it's the thermostat.
It is one tick to the left of where it should be. Above 30F, no problem.
