I guess the guy got a little impatient waiting for pedestrians to cross so he could make a right turn onto Franklin. He really gunned it when he finally made the turn... took that baby all the way to redline. Too bad he missed the shift into 2nd. There was a truly horrendous crunching noise. The car kept going, minus a synchro or two.
