Looking for some pros and cons on Touaregs. Any insight?

A buddy of mine works at a dealership and got a very clean V6 model in on trade. 2006 with 20k. Anything I should watch out for? Any major problems? Help computer.

love mine to death. '06 with everything under the sun.

just be ready to pay over $80 a tank for gas now a days.

i got the V8...

and cant say i have had any major issues with it. i will be purchasing an extended warranty in a week or so to give me more sleep at night.

not sure if there has been anything major for V6s though.

many people have had issues with touareg due to electronic gremlins and the such (early 04s). so you will get varying responses on what to look out for. im sure '06 models has majority of these kinks worked out.

check the touareg vortex forum. many comments and a nice FAQ too to go over.

however for me again, no major issues with mine as of yet. got 18K on the clock since buying the hog as a left-over in may '07.<ul><li><a href="http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=39">vortex</a></li></ul>
