100,000 miles and going
Just in case I took extended warranty, which I have used once bill £490 which was about the cost of warranty so at least I have got my monies worth. Warranty runs out in April so I am hoping to hit the next service interval before then.
Hope to keep it going to 200,000 by which time the new Pikes Peak will be out.
My first Audi's were a 1981 4000s..that I gave to charity (1995) with the original clutch at 145,000
My second was a 1980 5000S (wife's dad) that we junked with with 138,000 in 1996
Both cars were neglected and abused, but ran till I parted with them.
Then I read that the torque (which we love so dearly in the US) comes on big and low so that the driver will have virtually no clue that he/she is driving an oil burner -- coupled with better milage and lower fuel costs. . .why can't we have them?!?
