Car Insurance in NYC

Anyone know of a good insurance company besides Geico? I just purchased a 2002 allroad and geico is quoting me $3200 for only HALF YEAR!.. Because i had a 50/50 incident not more than a year ago.

open your yellow pages and call insurance brokers, they will shop for you and find you the chippest rate in your state.

That is strange...

I have Geico.. 15 years now. My ar is only 1850/6 months. I have 2 points. Granted I have 4 other cars on the Policy, but 1 is a 17 year old boy, 22 year old girl and my wife...6 points...

I have 300/500 coverage, 200.00 deduct on col. 250 on Comp and full glass.

HOw old are you what is your record like?

I'm having the car insured

under my mom's name. She has 2 points..
I have none, but got into an accident last year. it was ruled 50/50 (even tho it wasn't my fault).
I'm 24 (going 25 this year so hopefully it'll be cheaper once i hit 25).
$3200 for half year is crazy in my opinion.
When I had my 2003 a4, it was only $1800 for the whole year..
