Default What tires should I get?

After only 18,000 miles the Pirelli P6 allroad tires that came with the car are just about shot. Can anyone give me suggestions for better tires for the allroad? Thanks.

Default Get the Goodyears.

We had the same thing happen to our '01. Lasted about 20k miles. We've got 23K on the Goodyear allroad tires and they've lasted great so far.

Default Goodyear GS-D3, Falken Ziex 512, Michelin Pilot A/S are great choices.

The Falkens are the best bang for the buck at $99 USD in 225-55-17.

Default The Goodyear OEMs are better than the Pirelli OEMs, but there is no reason to buy them...

for a 4 tire replacement. There are much better tires on the market. but5 will have to give us more insight on his usage, climate, driving style, priorities, etc. before any suggestions are of much use.

I recommend the Michy Pilot A/S's for their versatility.

Better for what? Allout performance? Quiet with good performance? Snow traction?

I'm looking for quiet, good snow traction and anything that lasts longer than 18,000 miles! At 8,000 miles the Pirelli's starting making a thumping sound from severe cupping. They should ban these tires!

Default Then the Pilot Sport A/S or ZE-512 is the call, as others have said

The Michelin is very versatile, but expensive, and snow traction is only good in the first half of tire life.

Or maybe Falken Ziex Ze-512. People have been liking these around here, but I've got no personal experience with them. Much cheaper than the Michelins, but what isn't.
