Is it just me or has Audi suddenly followed BMW to hell.

I see they added a Residual Heat function to the climate control
I had the "rest" feature on a 97 Benz E320 and miss it on the allroad. Basically, you hit the "rest" button before you exit the car and the climate control will maintain your hot or cold set point for 30 minutes by circulating the hot water through the core and extracting all the heat. On hot days it will bring in outside air for 30 minutes. If you are out of the car for short errands you return to a heated or cooler car depending upon your settings.

I think they're working into the Euro passenger crash requirements the will really alter how some
cars look. Intended to limit pedestrian injuries which are quite common in Europe. Most cars will need to have higher front ends with more space between sheet metal and solid structure like engines to allow for crush space. Seems the Europeans are getting a dose of American style regulation.
