I went by a local BMW dealership last night on a lark... parked next to the new X3.
*holy mother of crap* is this thing ugly:

I can't speak to the interior, but the exterior looks remarkably like the illegitimate love child of a Subaru Forester and a Pontiac Vibe (one of whom was wearing a Batman costume at the time).
Seriously, the proportions were all wrong (which was clearly evident in comparison to the allroad)... and the detailing... it was VERY strange to see corners executed the way Bangle did them... look at the front corners of the hood and how the corner marker works...

One minor accident and that car will never be right again.
