We should all give thanks...

that we can afford to drive nice cars with big engines. I'm stuck in a Saturn sedan from Enterprise this week while my wife's car is in the body shop. Driving hell, bothers and sisters, driving hell.

When mine was at the dealer for a month I had to drive a Focus!

I used to get stuck in Ford Tempos going to San Jose every week.

Couldn't wait to get back home and into my, then, A4 2.8.

Agreed, 100%...

...I had a (B6) A4 1.8T Tip loaner and was horribly disappointed...and this after I'd "graduated" to my allroad from 2 (B5) A4s and their ancestors before them, so I knew what to expect. It just wasn't as solid as I'm used to, and, of course, it was a lot smaller.

I want this car to last forever! HPH

for the TT loaner we had for the night

Had to take my wife's ar in for some minor things: front end alignment, my keyfob not working for the 4th time, rear wiper trickeling washer fluid and the 02 sensor recall notice. She complained to them about having a cavilier with deflated tires the last time so the tech said, what would you like? She said tt and it was an '04 with less than 1k miles on it. It reminded me a lot like my '90 vw corrado, but much, much better. I took my Dad for a ride in it, the neighbors son got to sit in it and it really got a lot of compliments. A very well put together package. But it's an Audi, would you expect less?
And yes, I believe they fixed the ar this time.
Moral of the story, ask and yea shall recieve.
