Default Dude, My front bags deflated!!!!

Driving home last night, both of my front suspension air bags decided to totally deflate. I had the suspension set on the second level, when all of a sudden, the self leveling warning light came, and the front of the car dropped! It was totally slammed in the front, and on the second setting in the rear. It looked kind of cool, had a tight feeling, but was pretty bouncy.

Went out to the car this morning and it was still in slammed. I turned it on, and all warning lights went away, and the car raised to its normal position.

Weird. Anyone else experience this? The random occurences like this are beginning to happen to frequently.

Default Mine is still in the shop

Well, I didn't get the deflation and subsequent lowrider effect...but my allroad has been in the shop since last Friday for failing suspension.

*UPDATE: Just got the call and they still have not received the parts for repair. Looks like another day in the loaner.*

I got the warning light and then was unable to adjust at all. Warning light went off at next restart, but suspension would still not adjust.

Words cannot express the disappointment in my newest Audi experience.

Default My laundry list:

-latest front airbag failure
-clunking sound (possible upper control arm failure)
-self leveling headlight failure
-rear interior paneling tearing, and clip failure
-Tire Pressure Monitor has never worked
-vibrating shifter ****
-leaking foot well
-countless other electrical gremlins (self leveling failure, headlight leveling failure, etc...)
-drivers side window malfunctioning
-loose heat shield

blah blah blah blah blah......

Anyone from Audi reading this? That new S4 avant would be a nice replacement. But, God, I love this car.

Went out to take a pic when the car was warming up...that was when it corrected itself.

Default Ugh.

Wow, you must have it really bad for the allroad. I am nearing the end of my tether and I've not had as many faults as you have.

My issue is more of the principle of the situation. When shelling out $45K+ for a supposedly premium automobile...I expect nothing less than at least GOOD quality.

To date, the allroad has slipped into the AVERAGE category and quickly dipping into POOR QUALITY territory.

Your issues look like POOR QUALITY to me.

Like I've said in the past, the previous vehicle I owned (2000 Land Rover Discovery) was in all ways of higher reliability and significantly less in the shop for repairs. So much for German engineering. Strike 2 for VW/Audi.

My first ever brand new car was a 1995 VW Golf. Loved the wacky color and the european feel over the Japanese cars. Loved it for about 1000 miles. That's when it began a 6 month journey to Hell.

VW finally bought that car back and I swore to never buy VW again...

One of these days I'll learn to heed my own mandates.

Default Sounds like a personel problem, No I just had to say that.

it kinda sounds like one of the air control valves stuck. Check electrical conections to valves. (thats if you can) I went through this one time with the RR LWB, hit a large (6+in) ridge at a bridge, had to have the computer reset. See you should have never taken you car off road.
You still going on the 22nd?

Default DUDE! WHERE'S MY CAR ??

Wow ... alls these feedback is kinda terrifying and scary.

Thank God at 24,000 miles, I've had no problem except the noisy Pirelli tires (that I replaced with the ultraquiet Falkens). I've been thinking about keeping my AR for awhile (purchase at end of lease). But now if I do that, an extended warranty may be wise ... or ... surrender my AR at end of 4 year lease.

Sorry to hear about your ARs Dude ...

Default On a serious note...

If I were to keep an allroad, it would require some sort of warranty.

Too many gadgets that can go terribly wrong.

Default see my first allroad...

was a piece of crap that was falling a part, audi bought it back after the second electrical burn out (easy on buy backs)then i bought another allroad which is much better (reliability wise) but still annoys me with little things going wrong every once in a wild. i will probably keep it until the lease end and most probably will never buy another audi unless they improve their quality. can't stand japanese cars but might have to force myself to get away from problems.
