Absurd tranny question...
i am about to get a new(used)allroad and am leaning towards the tip. however i have heard that a torque increase over 320lb is not reccomended. Theoretically, could a RS6 transmission be dropped in an allroad or is there a way to increase the strength of the stock transmission? or is this all absurd and i should just hold out on a 6speed? I would like to get the Tip if at all possible but if it wont handle the extra power......

Hey Speed Limit,
I believe level10 ( http://levelten.com ) tweaks the TIPs for higher HP for the A4 guys (I heard A4 parts run about $1200). The AR work is custom and I don't think it's listed on their webpage so you may need to give them a call. I did find a post regarding costs
