Great people on AW- Xpost - Thanks to Ming 2.7T, GIACuser, DWP & drkangel. So Cal hospitality-

I've been traveling to the LA area (from Chicago) a number of times over the last few months for business. After a recent posting about heading that way, Ming 2.7T suggested getting a few of the LA area die-hards together for dinner.

I took him up on his offer and he, GIACuser, DWP, drkangel and I had dinner Wednesday night. Figures it's the first rainy day in weeks out there. DWP had to endure a 3 hour drive in rainy traffic to meet up with us.

Thanks to all of them for a great evening of Audi-talk and 32oz steaks- OK, only one of us was brave enough of a carnivore to order the 32 oz'r. If I have to be away from home and my family, it's great to be able to hook up with fellow AW'ers and spend a night talking about our cars.

But..... Joe and Rick are a bad influence. Joe's K04 & Milltek equipped A6 is awesome. Talk about a world of difference from my stock Allroad. And Rick's monster...all I can say is WOW. Brings back memories of my old days with a modified 930, and I'm not sure that Rick's car wouldn't outrun the 930. Now let's see. How can I do K04s and not void the 6/100 certified????
