b6 S4 convert looking for suspension info
Hey Everyone,
I'm a regular on the b6 S4 forum who's very unhappy with his car, and I'm trying to figure out what might make me happy as a replacement.
I test drove an allroad overnight last week, and I really liked it a lot. I came here and did some searches on modifying the suspension, but I haven't seen anyone comment on *results*.
I don't need it to be any lower than factory, (but wouldn't turn it down). What I'm looking for is stiffer. I saw a post about an MTM system that claims to be able to stiffen it. Can anyone tell me how it does it?
And more importantly, what's the effect? How close am I going to be able to get an allroad to match an S4 or S6 in handling? Let's assume I'm willing to put 18" wheels and top-notch tires (prob. S-03's) on it - how close would it get in handling to a stock b5 or b6 S4?
And I did search dilligently, I appologize if the answer's out there and I missed it.

The gerneral agreement is for H-Sport Sway bars
This is pretty much the only tru suspension mod that can be done and its made for the allroad. Those that have done this love the flatter feel to the car. Add this to HP tires and a lowering of the suspension via a vag setting (the 402 mod) and you have it all...
