Cruise Control
Had the ECU replaced on my '01. Factory recall-
other than taking a long period from getting one shipped over
from the farterland am well pleased. Blasted off this morning
for the snow country and set the cruise control- nada !
Any ideas ?

Checked the fuse panel and both the fuse for cruise was missing and
the one for the headlight leveling. Tried to place fuse in and the
male nipples are not there in the fuse panel. Wonder if the upgrade does away with
these 2 ? Will ask monday.

the fuse designation is wrong. on your car, the cruise is incorporated into the engine control unit. and operated through the drive by wire. there is no actual seperate cruise control system. there is a procedure to activate the cruise that the dealer should know about. it's very easy for them to do.
