Question to AR 04 Owner's...
Have any of you all noticed or experienced deep window scratches? This is my 4th Audi, and I never experienced this before. At least all the '04s, including my '04 AR 4.2 (5k miles)has a new designed window weather stripping. The new design has a channel that collects all the dirt, grit, etc. If not cleaned out frequently, you run the risk of scratching your windows when opening/closing. I contacted Audi Customer Assistance and the Dealer. So, far no response.
The problem is worse if you leave in the Northeast (Boston area as I do),or anyplace with winter weather. Hell, I just tinted the windows, and the scratches are more pronounced against the dark tint.
Have any of you experienced this?
