windshield chips
The harsh Northeast winter has produced more than an average amount of road debris. I've had numerous windshield impacts, several of which have left defects consisting of small chips about 2 to 3 mm. in diameter, without any obvious cracks or starburst pattern. The larger ones are certainly noticeable, especially on a clean windshield. Most auto glass places will say that no repair can be done. Does anyone know of techniques to produce a cosmetic improvement, even if it isn't a permanent solution?

Re: windshield chips, We have chips!!! Here in Calif. in the mountains near Tahoe
we go through one or two windshield a year with just what you have. It realy just easyer to have it replaced in the Spring.
