Default My 02 allroad, is starting to not lower at higher speeds

It's interesting. i know before it would drop down from level 2 to level 1 around 85mph or so, well this trip, I had a few stints for a period of time that were in excess of that speed and id didn't drop to level 1. I'm wondering why, do you think the system adapts, do you think it judges based on how much the car is moving; i.e:: road conditions or?

Also took my car into the snow for the first time, but thanks to my lowered level 1 setting, I would hit the snow quite often/ But the car did fine.

Default I have to admit that in the last year I don't think I have ever seem my car do the auto lower thing

But then I tend to drive in level one almost all the time. Try and check it out tomorrow.
Almost 800 miles on the new brakes and guess what?
It's coming back. Wabble on the hi speed brake app. after about 20 miles at freeway speeds. around town slow speen nothing.

Default My manual say "above about 130km/h normal setting changes over to low setting...

(with a delay of 30 seconds)."

Default My '02 lowers, but tends to only happen when I hit 90.... not that I would on public roads....

Seriously, At 85- nothing. Hit 90, instantly begins lowering.

Default Out of curiosity and for data gathering. Did you retorque your lugs after brakes replaced?

Or did you just let the hacks put on your wheels with an impact wrench? No offense to you - they should do it right, but I would bet my pink slip that they don't. I think this is a major factor in the warped rotor issue.

Default my '02 is doing it above 85 but that speed needs to be sustained for a period of time before the car

lowers itself. The '03+ was set higher like 92mph or so.

Default I think '01 had a lower speed for lowering, but...

my '01 with 35k still lowers to level 1 at sustained speeds over 75mph--never fails. But didn't they raise the speed for '02?

It would also be helpful to know if they were properly bedded in.
